Sir,
I am a student of Comparative Literature (MA) at McGill University in Canada. I am currently writing an article on how Leo Tolstoy, the Russian writer, is represented by Indian writers. In this regard, I wanted to discuss Kedarnath Singh's recent poem - ताल्सताय और साइकिल. However, due to the coronavirus crisis, I am unable to find this book at my nearby library, which is indefinitely closed. During the course of my research, I read your excellent article here: http://creationandcriticism.com/time_to_speak-out_cl_khatris_two-minute_silence_and_kedarnath_singhs_do_minute_ka_maun.html
I wanted to request you - if possible at all - to please send me over email, in whatever form (photograph or text) just one copy of Kedarnath Singh's poem "Tolstoy Aur Cycle," from his collection. It is not even available online over here. It would be invaluable for preserving the memory of this great writer in the international mind to have him written about and published.
It is for these reasons and seeking your help that I write to you. I look forward to hearing from you, and thank you in anticipation,
Sincerely,
Suvij Sudershan
